1-    300,000 level ,C=2.55PPM=5mg/m3

2-    100,000 level, C=5ppm=10mg/m3

3-    10,000 level, C=15ppm=30mg/m3

4-    100 level, C=20ppm=40mg/m3

For planktonic : C=2~4ppm

For sedimentary bacteria of object surface : C=10~15ppm

1ppm=2.14mg/m3

2.    OZONE DOSAGE IN AIR (SPACE) DISINFECTION

W = CV / S
W = the total amount of ozone
V = total volume (M3)
S = decay rate, S = 0.42
C = concentration of ozone disinfection workshop , mg / m3

3.    SELECTION OF OZONE GENERATOR IN HVAC SYSTEM APPLICATION

1-    How to calculate the actual disinfection volume? it consists of three parts

V=V1+V2+V3 

V1 means space volume of clean area.

V2 means volume of air duct, it can be ignored.

V3 means the fresh air volume supplied to keep the positive pressure of clean area.

V3≈ the total cycled air volume of HVAC system (m3/h) * 25% (regular fresh air turnover rate ) * 10~20% ( fresh air volume supplied to keep the positive pressure of clean area) *39% (budget value of half-life ozone ).

So V3= the total cycled air volume of HVAC system (m3/h) *1~2%.

2-    take ozone air sterilization in factory for example

clean room requires 5ppm ozone concentration (C=5ppm), but in fact, the disinfection of clean area including both air sterilization and surface disinfection, so engineer choose 10ppm O3 concentration.

3-    Engineering Data

disinfect the area S = L36m * W48m = 1728 m2

elevation H = 2.6 m

air duct volume of 100000m3 / h

4-    According to the engineering parameters provided by the factory
V1 = S * H = 1728 * 2.6 = 4492.8m3
V2 is negligible
V3 = 100000 * 1.1% = 1100 m3

Total actual volume V = V1 + V2 + V3 = 4492.8 + 1100 = 5592.8≈5593 m3
Ozone dosage required W = C × V / (1-S) = 10 * 2 * 5593 / 0.4208 = 286.82 g / h
Piping, and other factors considered, choose ozone generator output 300g / h
