Japan confirmed that ozone can inactivate novel coronavirus
A team of researchers from Nara Prefectures Medical University in Japan and MBT (a member company of the Ministry of Infectious Diseases) confirmed for the first time in the world that ozone gas can inactivate Novel Coronavirus. In addition, the inactivation conditions are clarified through experiments, and its practicability is proved scientifically.
A novel Coronavirus cell line was cultured and coated with a stainless steel plate in an ozone-resistant gas-tight box (propylene) installed in a safety cabinet. Then run the ozone generator set in the ozone resistant gas tight box (propylene system), the ozone concentration in the ozone resistant gas tight box is controlled at about 1.0-6.0 PPM.
The results showed that the virus had a survival rate of 1/1000-1/10000 at a CT value of 330 (55 min exposure at 6ppm ozone). At a CT value of 60 (exposure at 1 PPM ozone for 60 minutes), the virus had a survival rate of 1 in 10 to 1 in 100.
On 29 May 2021, Vietnam announced the discovery of a "very dangerous" hybrid of the novel coronavirus mutant strain, which is more transmissible and can spread rapidly in the air.
A new round of mutant novel coronavirus will affect our health once again. It is necessary to use ozone sterilizer to sterilize our environment.
